Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to lead national operations for Commercial Property & Casualty. The role partners with senior leadership to drive standardized workflows, efficiency, and growth across the organization.

A licensed P&C professional with strategic and transformational leadership will thrive in this role. The candidate will guide operations, serve as a subject matter expert, and support M&A integration while delivering exceptional client service

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute initiatives to strengthen Commercial Lines operations and performance.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions to improve efficiency and client outcomes.
• Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement sustainable improvements.
• Analyze staffing models and capacity planning to support growth.
• Support M&A integration through operational assessments and workflow alignment.
• Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, and technology platforms.
