Job summary

Lighthouse Technology Services, Inc. is seeking a Vice President of AI Development for a direct placement, remote in Buffalo, NY. You will own the AI agent runtime platform, lead AWS migration, and build the autonomous kernel with a focus on secure self-deployment.

You will also drive the memory system, self-learning loop, and venture engine from concept to revenue. Applicants should hold an MS or PhD in CS/AI, have production experience with TypeScript/Node and Python, and be proficient with

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in CS/AI with research or industry experience.
• Production experience shipping TypeScript/Node and Python.
• Hands-on experience with frontier-model APIs from major providers.
• Security-conscious approach for autonomous deployment systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain AI agent runtime platform with 16+ sibling services.
• Lead AWS migration to ECS/Fargate and RDS with a cutover plan.
• Build and harden the autonomous agent kernel and merge fences.
• Develop memory system of record for ingestion, provenance and retrieval.
• Create self-learning loop with audit tools and pinned open-weights models.
• Build operator console in React and React Native with real-time voice lane.
• Design venture engine to identify and launch new business initiatives.
• Take ventures from proposal through product build to revenue generation.
• Document architecture decisions with context, alternatives and safeguards.
