Job summary

Client (Confidential) is seeking a Vice President, AI Architect to define enterprise AI architecture and set the roadmap for scalable, production-grade AI capabilities across the organization. You will shape model integration, governance, and secure execution within core systems while partnering with technology, security, and legal leaders.

The role is remote for US-based candidates, offering a challenging, high-impact opportunity to align senior stakeholders and drive significant business

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software architecture, systems engineering, or AI engineering with senior leadership experience.
• Strong foundation in distributed systems, software design, APIs, and performance engineering.
• Experience with model integration, inference serving, and operating AI systems at scale.
• Ability to establish shared platforms and align senior stakeholders on architectural tradeoffs.
• Experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making and improve business outcomes.
• Proven track record designing and delivering production AI systems, including generative applications.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the company-wide AI architecture and roadmap, resolving cross-business-unit tradeoffs.
• Design and build full-stack AI systems, connecting models to execution environments.
• Architect production AI systems for performance, resilience, and scalability.
• Create a consistent developer experience through reusable components and common APIs.
• Design the AI lifecycle architecture, ensuring reproducible workflows and observability.
• Embed security and governance into AI architectures, partnering with Security and Legal.
