Job summary

TELUS Digital is seeking an enterprising Vice President of Commercial, AI Data Solutions to own the commercial growth of our AI Data Training practice. This leader will drive revenue by acquiring, expanding, and retaining strategic relationships with AGI and Generative AI builders.

Our offerings cover data collection, annotation, evaluation, and RLHF services for next‑gen AI systems. The VP will manage P&L, partnerships, and GTM across multiple domains to deliver high-impact outcomes for clients

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in enterprise sales, account management, or client success roles, with 2–3 years at VP level or equivalent.
• Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding revenue targets and growing strategic enterprise accounts.
• Experience leading client-facing commercial teams, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Direct experience selling to AI labs, foundation model companies, or technology firms building AI-powered products.

Responsibilities

• Own year-over-year revenue growth across the AI Data Solutions client portfolio and deliver against ambitious targets.
• Grow wallet share within existing accounts by transitioning clients to long-term AI data partnerships.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing client organizations across AI research, product, safety, and engineering units.
• Develop and execute account-level commercial strategies and roadmaps that drive measurable revenue outcomes and position TELUS Digital as a preferred AI data partner.
• Build and own trusted C-suite and senior leader relationships across client AI labs and GenAI product teams.
• Serve as the executive sponsor and primary escalation point for strategic accounts to ensure long-term retention.
• Shape the future direction of client AI programs and position TELUS Digital as a thought leader.
• Negotiate commercial agreements, renewals, and expansions reflecting value delivered and growth.
