Qualifications

• Experience in volunteer management or related field, preferably with remote operations.
• Proven ability to build relationships virtually.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to craft online content.
• Proficient with online collaboration tools (Zoom, Slack, Teams, PM software).
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Experience delivering online training.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
• Passion for the non-profit sector and community initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for recruiting volunteers through online channels, social media, and virtual events.
• Design and deliver engaging online training programs and onboarding sessions for new volunteers.
• Manage and maintain a database of volunteers, tracking involvement, skills, and impact.
• Foster a strong sense of community among remote volunteers through regular communication, virtual meetups, and recognition initiatives.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to volunteers, addressing questions and concerns promptly.
• Coordinate volunteer assignments and ensure alignment with organizational needs and volunteer interests.
• Develop and disseminate content (newsletters, blogs, social posts) to showcase contributions.
• Measure and report on key volunteer engagement metrics and trends.
• Collaborate with program managers to understand volunteer needs and match opportunities.
