Job summary

ALSAC is seeking a VOE Territory Liaison to support and execute volunteer engagement across assigned territories in the United States. You will partner with VOE Advisors, Territory leadership, and Area Leads to develop local volunteer strategies, strengthen community relationships, and maintain year-round momentum.

Role involves identifying local engagement opportunities, coordinating recognition events (National Volunteer Week), and leveraging dashboards to improve the volunteer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
• 4–6 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key connector between VOE strategy and territory-level execution, providing hands-on support to strengthen volunteer recruitment, stewardship, recognition, and engagement across assigned territories.
• Partner with VOE Advisors, Territory leadership, ALSAC staff, and Territory Area Leads to build territory-specific volunteer strategies, deepen local relationships, support consistent volunteer experiences, and maintain engagement momentum.
• Identify opportunities to leverage local market strengths to increase volunteer engagement.
• Connect with community groups, companies, local organizations, and prospective volunteer networks.
• Support stewardship, engagement opportunities, volunteer networking, and local engagement activities; ensure volunteers have meaningful touchpoints.
• Plan and coordinate volunteer recognition events, including National Volunteer Week at the territory level.
• Use dashboards, survey results, and engagement insights to identify opportunities to improve the volunteer experience.
• Build and maintain relationships with territory staff, volunteers, local organizations, and volunteer leaders.
• Collaborate with Territory Area Leads and VOE Advisors to apply national frameworks, tools, templates, training resources; customize training as needed.
• Identify local engagement challenges and elevate insights to VOE leadership.
• Maintain year-round volunteer engagement momentum through local communications, events, stewardship, and recognition touchpoints.
• Support local execution of National Volunteer Week and other recognition strategies.
• Use data and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
