Bright Vision Technologies in a 100% remote US role seeks a Data Center Virtualization Engineer to design, deploy, and operate VMware-based virtualization, SDN, and storage across on‑prem and hybrid cloud environments. Focus areas include vSphere, vSAN, NSX, Aria, and Tanzu with emphasis on automation and capacity management.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of hands-on VMware experience, strong automation skills, and a proven track record in enterprise-scale operations and DR planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on VMware platform engineering.
• Deep expertise in vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.
• Hands-on with vSAN storage policy management.
• Experience with NSX-T or NSX-V networking.
• Strong PowerCLI scripting and automation tooling.
• Familiarity with Tanzu Kubernetes Grid or VMware containers.
• Strong DR patterns and SRM knowledge.
• Troubleshooting across compute, network and storage.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate VMware-based virtualization across on‑prem and hybrid clouds.
• Automate operations with PowerCLI and other tooling; manage capacity and performance.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure DR readiness and SRM workflows.
• Navigate evolving VMware product landscape while maintaining enterprise-scale stability.
