Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a VMware Infrastructure Engineer for a 100% remote role in the United States. You will design, deploy, and operate VMware-based virtualization and software-defined storage/networking across on-prem and hybrid cloud environments, focusing on automation and capacity management.

The ideal candidate has enterprise-scale VMware experience, deep knowledge of vSphere/vCenter/ESXi, and strong scripting and collaboration skills to support a growing US-only client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Five or more years of hands‑on VMware platform engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.
• Experience with NSX-T or NSX-V networking.
• Strong PowerCLI scripting skills and experience with automation tooling.
• Familiarity with Tanzu Kubernetes Grid or VMware container platforms.
• Strong understanding of disaster recovery patterns and SRM.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across compute, network, and storage layers.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate VMware-based virtualization, software-defined networking, and software-defined storage platforms across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments.
• Focus on automation and capacity management to support enterprise-scale VMware estates.
• Collaborate with teams to navigate VMware product landscape pragmatically and implement robust operations.
