Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a VMware Engineer to design, deploy, and operate VMware-based virtualization across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments. The role covers vSphere, vSAN, NSX, Aria, and Tanzu, with a focus on automation and capacity management.

The ideal candidate has enterprise-scale VMware experience, strong automation skills with PowerCLI, Terraform, and Ansible, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on VMware platform engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.
• Hands-on experience with vSAN and storage policy management.
• Experience with NSX-T or NSX-V networking.
• Strong PowerCLI scripting and automation tooling experience.
• Familiarity with Tanzu Kubernetes Grid or VMware container platforms.
• Strong understanding of disaster recovery patterns and SRM.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate VMware vSphere, vSAN, and NSX environments across data centers and hybrid deployments.
• Build and maintain Tanzu Kubernetes Grid environments for containerized workloads.
• Implement vRealize/Aria Automation for self-service provisioning and policy enforcement.
• Operate NSX-T for software-defined networking including micro-segmentation.
• Manage vSAN clusters, storage policies, and performance for diverse workloads.
• Implement disaster recovery and business continuity using SRM and replication.
• Build automation for VMware infrastructure using PowerCLI, Terraform, Ansible, and vRO.
• Design capacity management strategies including right-sizing and workload placement.
• Operate VMware Cloud Foundation deployments with lifecycle management and integration patterns.
