Job summary

CrowdStrike Inc. is seeking an Engineer II - Virtualization to join the Production Services team. You will help design and maintain scalable production systems, manage large deployments, and automate workflows using Python/Go/PowerShell.

The role requires hands-on OpenStack and VMware experience, Linux/Windows administration, and strong collaboration across global teams. This is a remote US position with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship or Green Card holder status.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience with infrastructure technologies at scale including Linux, Windows, VMware, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience administering large-scale OpenStack environments in production.
• Experience managing VMware vCenter/ESXi at scale including HA, DRS, and vMotion.
• Working knowledge of L2/L3 networking, VLANs, bonding/LACP, BGP and DHCP.
• Configuration management with Puppet/Chef/Ansible.
• Experience writing technical documentation.
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain complex technical systems architecture for production environments.
• Manage and support large-scale deployments of servers and applications in internal data centers.
• Administer Linux systems across thousands of bare metal servers and VMs.
• Develop scripts and automation tools to accelerate development and operations.
• Troubleshoot server hardware, hypervisor, and infrastructure issues.
• Participate in on-call rotation with incident management and post-mortems.
