Job summary

CrowdStrike Inc. is seeking an Engineer II - Virtualization to join our Production Services team. You will design and maintain complex production systems, and manage large-scale server deployments across internal datacenters.

The role requires Linux/Windows expertise, VMware, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenStack administration. You’ll develop automation and tooling (Python, Go, PowerShell) and support incident management with on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Requires US Citizenship or Green Card status and a CS degree or equivalent.
• Experience with Linux/Windows, VMware, Docker, and Kubernetes at scale.
• Hands-on OpenStack administration in production environments.
• Experience with vCenter/ESXi and HA/DRS/vMotion.
• Networking knowledge (L2/L3, VLANs, BGP, DHCP) and CM tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible).
• Ability to document technical systems clearly and concise. AI tooling experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain complex systems architecture for production environments.
• Manage large-scale deployments of servers and apps in internal data centers.
• Administer Linux and Windows across thousands of servers and VMs.
• Develop automation scripts and workflows, leveraging AI to accelerate development.
• Troubleshoot hardware, hypervisor, and infrastructure issues; participate in on-call rotations.
