Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking an Engineer II - Virtualization to join the Production Services team. You will design and maintain complex systems, manage large-scale deployments, and administer Linux and Windows across thousands of servers and VMs.

You'll develop automation tooling, troubleshoot infra issues, and participate in on-call incident management. A Bachelor's in CS and OpenStack/VCenter experience are required for this role.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship or Green Card holder status.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Linux and Windows systems at scale.
• Hands-on OpenStack production experience.
• VMware vCenter/ESXi management at scale including HA/DRS/vMotion.
• Networking knowledge (L2/L3, VLANs, BGP, DHCP).
• Configuration management with Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
• Experience documenting technical systems and processes.
• Experience using AI tools to enhance workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain complex technical systems architectures.
• Manage large-scale production deployments in internal data centers.
• Administer Linux and Windows across thousands of servers and VMs.
• Develop automation scripts and tooling (Python/Go/PowerShell).
• Troubleshoot hardware, hypervisor, and infra issues.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident management.
