CrowdStrike is seeking an Engineer II to join our Virtualization team in a remote US-based role. You will support thousands of virtual machines, perform Linux engineering tasks, and help maintain a production environment with automation and IaaS deployment.

You should have hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python/Go) and virtualization tools, plus the ability to work across time zones in a distributed team and contribute to a fast-paced, AI-driven security platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a large-scale production environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a computer-related field.
• Experience with automation and scripting (Python, Perl, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Open Source Virtualization and VMWare administration supporting thousands of virtual machines.
• Linux engineering and administration.
• Monitoring, maintenance, and operation of a production environment.
• Automate common tasks and deploy with an IaaS model; utilize Chef or similar.
• On-call rotation with other team members.
• Familiarity with public cloud and cloud administration concepts.
