Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking an Engineer II to join the Virtualization team in the United States. You will help build and maintain virtualization environments and support thousands of virtual machines in production.

The role requires 3+ years in a large-scale production setting, a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and comfort working with distributed teams across time zones; scripting in Python/Go is beneficial.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship or Green Card Holder
• 3+ years of experience in a large scale production environment
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a computer-related field

Responsibilities

• Provide Open Source virtualization and VMware administration for thousands of VMs
• Perform Linux engineering and administration tasks
• Monitor, maintain and operate production environments
• Troubleshoot server hardware issues
• Automate tasks and deploy with an IaaS model using Chef or similar
• Participate in on-call rotations and work with distributed teams across time zones
