Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Systems Engineer II to join our Production Services team. You will help build and maintain production systems environments across large-scale data centers and cloud-like platforms. The role emphasizes automation, monitoring, and reliability in a fast-paced security tech setting.

The position requires deep Linux expertise, experience with OpenStack and virtualization, and strong scripting abilities. Remote work is supported with occasional travel and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux engineering and administration for thousands of bare metal servers and VMs.
• Experience with container orchestration like Kubernetes and CI/CD systems such as GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Chef, Ansible, Salt.

Responsibilities

• Understand complex systems architecture and recommend improvements.
• Troubleshoot server hardware and production deployments.
• Script for automation using Python, Perl, PHP, JavaScript, or Go.
• On-call rotation with team members.
