Job summary

CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead on‑prem virtualization and storage infrastructure for our AI‑driven security platform.

You will drive migrations to a KVM‑based private cloud, design storage clusters, and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, Packer, and Ansible. You will mentor engineers, optimize distributed storage protocols, participate in on‑call rotations, and collaborate across time zones to maintain scalable, reliable systems at

Qualifications

• 7+ years in large-scale production infrastructure
• Experience with on-prem virtualization and private cloud
• Proficiency in automation and scripting
• Hands-on with IaC tools (Terraform, Packer, Ansible)
• Experience with distributed storage protocols (NFS, CIFS)
• Experience across Linux/Windows/macOS environments
• CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with AI-enabled workflows is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead design and operation of on-prem virtualization (QEMU/KVM)
• Drive migration to a KVM-based private cloud model
• Contribute to storage migration and cluster design
• Build and maintain IaC with Terraform, Packer, Ansible
• Operate and optimize distributed storage (NFS/CIFS)
• Ensure monitoring, maintenance, and resilience of R&D environments
• Mentor junior engineers and review IaC scripts
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident resolution
