Job summary

Leybold USA Inc. is seeking a Virtual Sales Engineer to serve as the main contact for customers, drive sales in open territories, and re-engage lapsed accounts.

The role supports a hybrid model after training and emphasizes collaboration with sales and technical teams. Responsibilities include leading pre- and post-sale activities, quoting for the Service Business Line, and promoting Leybold service products while leveraging CRM systems.

Qualifications

• Prior experience of 1-3 years in technical sales, business development, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other technical field with relevant business or marketing knowledge.
• Experience with vacuum equipment or technical product sales is a plus.
• Familiarity with CRM applications is preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficient in using MS Office suite to execute daily tasks effectively.
• Strong customer-centric approach and ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
• Demonstrated adaptability and self-motivation to learn and grow.
• Fluency in Spanish is an asset.
• Possession of a valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison for pre- and post-sale activities.
• Own designated territory, re-engage lapsed service customers to drive revenue.
• Guide customers through the sales process with timely, accurate information.
• Collaborate with outside sales to cover service lines.
• Follow up on leads and provide quotes for the Service Business Line.
• Deliver overview of Service Products and demonstrate product benefits.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities including field services and service contracts.
• Maintain CRM data and document customer interactions.
