Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Virtual Event Planner to manage and execute online events for a diverse clientele, supporting operations globally from a remote base, with a focus on Paarl-area clients. You will lead end-to-end planning of webinars, conferences, and other online gatherings while delivering engaging, seamless experiences.

Ideal candidates have proven experience with Zoom Events, Hopin, and Cvent, strong project management and communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot

• Proven experience in planning and managing virtual or hybrid events.
• Proficiency with Zoom Events, Hopin, and Cvent.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for remote teams.
• Technical aptitude to troubleshoot live virtual environments.
• Creative design skills for engaging online experiences near Paarl.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage virtual events from conception to post-event analysis.
• Select and manage appropriate virtual event platforms and technologies.
• Coordinate with speakers, sponsors, and vendors for virtual event logistics.
• Develop event content, agendas, and promotional materials for online dissemination.
• Provide technical support and guidance to speakers and attendees during live virtual events.
• Monitor event performance, gather feedback, and provide comprehensive reports to clients.
