Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Minute Clinic Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner to deliver telehealth services for patients aged 18 months and up. The role supports a three-weekend shift pattern with three weekdays and Saturdays and Sundays, from 2:30 p.m.

to 11:00 p.m. Qualified candidates hold an active Nurse Practitioner license in eligible states, have 2+ years of relevant experience, and are proficient with electronic health records while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide

Qualifications

• Must hold current, unrestricted license in one of the eligible states (AL, AR, CO, IA, ID, IN, LA, MI, MS, NE, NV, OK, TN, TX).
• Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, evidenced-based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems and health counseling for patients aged 18 months and older.
• Evaluate primary, acute, chronically ill, and transitional care patients with education and counseling.
• Provide patient counseling on contraception and STI prevention and manage medications.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and respond to inquiries.
• Document all care in the EHR per CVS Health policies.
