Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Minute Clinic Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner (Provider) to deliver holistic care via a remote platform. The role requires an active NP license and involves a full-time overnight schedule (9:30 p.m.

– 6:00 a.m.) with every-other weekend work. The position emphasizes independent practice within a collaborative team, comprehensive patient assessment, education, and disposition planning for patients aged 18 months and up.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted license in one of the states listed (AL, AR, CO, IA, ID, IN, LA, MI, MS, NE, NV, OK, TN, TX)
• Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience or equivalent
• Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Ability to practice autonomously and collaborate with clinicians as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, evidence-based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and disposition planning for patients ages 18 months and older
• Evaluate and educate patients across primary, acute, chronic, and transitional care needs
• Counsel on pregnancy prevention and STI prevention, and contraceptive care
• Educate on health maintenance and respond to patient inquiries
• Document care in an EHR following CVS Health policies
• Coordinate care with internal and external colleagues within a patient-centered medical home model
• Work with a care team including Providers, physicians, paraprofessionals, pharmacists and other health team members
• Operate with initiative, prioritize problems, and advocate for patients
