Ideal candidates hold an active NP license in any US state, with 2+ years of clinically relevant experience and strong communication skills. Licensure and potential additional state requirements vary by market.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted licensure in any US state/district.
• Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience.
• Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Initiative, problem-solving ability, adaptability and flexibility.
• Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously.
• Proficiency with information management and technology.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues to provide quality care.
• Depending on the market, proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, evidence-based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and disposition planning for patients aged 18 months and older.
• Evaluate primary care, acute, chronically ill, and transitional care patients while educating and counseling.
• Provide contraception counseling and medication management.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and respond to inquiries.
• Document all patient care within an EHR per MinuteClinic policies.
• Coordinate care with internal and external colleagues to maintain high-quality care.
• Work with a care team including Providers, physicians, paraprofessionals, pharmacists, and others.
• Work independently, prioritize, and advocate for patients.
