Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Minute Clinic Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner (Provider) on a 6-month PRN contract. Ideal candidates have 20+ hours weekly, including some weekends, and hold an unrestricted US license with potential licensure expansion.

You will deliver holistic, evidenced-based care via remote technology for patients aged 18 months and up, collaborating with a dedicated team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted licensure in any US state/district.
• Minimum 2 years of medically-relevant experience or equivalent.
• Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Initiative, problem solving ability, adaptability and flexibility.
• Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously.
• Proficient with information management and technology.
• Ability to collaborate with professional colleagues to provide quality care.
• Spanish language skills may be required in some markets.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, evidenced-based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and disposition planning for patients 18 months and older.
• Evaluate diverse patient populations and provide health education and counseling.
• Counsel on pregnancy prevention, STI prevention and safer sex practices, and contraception management.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and respond to inquiries.
• Document all patient care in an EHR per MinuteClinic policies.
• Coordinate care with internal and external colleagues to deliver high-quality care.
• Work with a care team including Providers, physicians, paraprofessionals and pharmacists.
• Work independently, prioritize and resolve problems, and advocate for patients.
