Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Minute Clinic Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner (Provider) to deliver holistic, evidence-based care remotely for patients age 18 months and up. You will work with a dedicated team to assess, diagnose, treat and disposition care via a telehealth platform.

Ideal candidates have an active NP license in eligible states, at least two years of relevant experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted license in one of the listed states (D.C., DE, FL, KS, KY, MA, MD, ME, NH, OH, RI, VT).
• Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience.
• Strong verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision.
• Proficiency with information management and technology.
• Language abilities may include Spanish in some markets.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, evidenced-based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment and disposition planning.
• Evaluate primary, acute, and chronically ill patients aged 18 months and older.
• Offer contraceptive care counseling and medication management.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and respond to inquiries.
• Document care in an EHR per MinuteClinic policies.
• Coordinate care with internal and external colleagues to ensure high-quality care.
• Collaborate with Providers, physicians, paraprofessionals and pharmacists.
• Work independently, prioritize, and advocate for patients.
