Job summary

Midwest Veterinary Supply is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for our North Dakota territory. This role involves maintaining and growing sales to veterinary clinics, universities, and research facilities, with travel required and coordination with Inside Sales.

Fargo, ND is not included in this territory. You will develop relationships, plan calls, attend meetings, and stay current with promotions and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A four-year college degree is preferred.
• Minimum two years in the veterinary industry experience required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Strong communication and professional sales techniques required.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Make sales calls to veterinary clinics, universities, and research facilities and sell veterinary products.
• Plan calls in advance and organize materials, promotions, and industry trends.
• Establish and maintain relationships with vendor representatives in the territory.
• Attend vendor meetings and trade shows and participate in training sessions.
• Respond to management/vendor requests and maintain territory reporting and expenses.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
