Job summary

Mars is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for the Fargo, ND area. This field-based role requires live within the territory and involves cross-functional collaboration to drive clinic access, Vet recommendations, and sales performance.

Overnight travel and some weekend conferences are expected. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree (preferred), 2+ years of sales experience (ideally B2B), and veterinary clinic exposure, with strong communication and presentation skills and a valid

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, ideally B2B.
• Experience in veterinary clinics is preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, 20-30%+ travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic needs.
• Grow relationships with clinic decision-makers in the geography.
• Deliver data-driven presentations addressing Veterinary staff needs.
• Collaborate with BU and org stakeholders to meet objectives.
• Build partnerships to meet shared goals and drive sales.
• Execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy.
• Work in cross-functional teams in dynamic environments.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and adjust strategies as needed.
• Manage expense and sales budgets; complete CRM and expense reports.
