Job summary

Penn Veterinary Supply Inc. is seeking a Veterinary Outside Sales Regional Manager to oversee a team of Territory Managers across NJ/PA/DE/MD. The role involves strategic planning, coaching, and ensuring top performance in a field-based sales environment.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in veterinary/animal health sales, leadership experience, and strong coaching and communication skills. Travel 3–4 days per week is expected; base salary plus commissions/bonuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in veterinary/animal health or distribution.
• Prior experience in a sales leadership or multi-territory management role preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive regional performance through territory planning and hands-on support.
• Ensure Territory Managers are trained, supported, and meeting expectations.
• Conduct regular in-field travel (3–4 days/week) including joint calls and reviews.
• Lead regular performance reviews focusing on sales skills and territory planning.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts across territories.
• Provide direct customer support during Territory Manager absences.
• Lead quarterly regional meetings and monthly sales calls; attend national meetings.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard new Territory Managers with HR.
