Blacksmith Agency, an AI-first digital agency serving veterinary groups and multi-clinic practices, is seeking a Commercial Account Executive for Veterinary. You will close new veterinary business and nurture high-value accounts, collaborating with SDRs, strategists, and leadership on multi-step deals.

This consultative closer role requires confident virtual communication, deep discovery, and the ability to manage long sales cycles while expanding accounts after initial wins.

Qualifications

• Minimum years of experience in quota-carrying closing roles.
• Experience selling into veterinary or marketing/agency services to similar buyers.
• Ability to manage longer consultative sales cycles (3–12 months).
• Strong executive presence and comfortable selling remotely.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from discovery through close for veterinary groups and multi-clinic practices.
• Coordinate with sales development and inbound leads to convert warm meetings into signed contracts.
• Engage with multiple decision makers (owners, operators, marketing leaders) to shape proposals and negotiations.
• Develop proposals, presentations, and negotiation strategies with strategists.
• Grow accounts after first engagement with ongoing value delivery.
