Job summary

GTSC is hiring experienced online call center customer service representatives to support the Veterans Experience Office at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. This is a 100% virtual role, but your residence must be within 60 minutes of a VA facility for training and occasional visits.

A REAL ID or acceptable alternative is required to enter federal facilities. You will help Veterans in potentially stressful situations by connecting them to the right resources.

Qualifications

• Must have six (6) months of consecutive call center or contact center experience.
• Speed and stability of home internet with a wired connection (minimum 25 Mbps download, 10 Mbps upload).
• Training provided after hire and equipment supplied for work.

Responsibilities

• Learn, understand and explain VA services and procedures.
• Ask clarifying questions to identify complex requests for VA services and information.
• Accurately record call details in CRM and other systems.
• Route Veterans to appropriate VA resources and maintain contact until resolution.
