Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services seeks a Vendor Management Supervisor to lead a nationwide remote team in selecting, monitoring, and evaluating third-party vendors for mortgage operations. You will ensure SLA/KPI compliance and regulatory alignment while developing procedures and training for the specialists.

The role requires strong leadership, governance experience, and the ability to manage risk across vendor networks, with an approved pay range of $71,000 to $85,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in mortgage servicing, auditing, finance, compliance or vendor management.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Lead or supervisory experience with a team of two or more people.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of Vendor Management staff and set performance expectations.
• Monitor compliance of third-party vendors with regulatory and internal policies.
• Evaluate vendor adherence to SLAs and regulations and address issues promptly.
• Motivate staff, manage workload, and provide coaching and development.
• Maintain and improve department policies, forms, and training materials.
• Evaluate department reports and vendor management system for quality and effectiveness.
• Share performance assessment results with staff and guide training as needed.
• Oversee vendor risk assessments and due diligence documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Review monthly vendor scorecards and address performance issues with stakeholders.
• Oversee annual re-certification processes and resolve common vendor issues.
• Oversee onboarding and termination of vendors per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Review exception reports and improve reporting processes.
• Respond to internal and external audit requests as needed.
• Review on-site audit reports for remediations and notify stakeholders.
• Handle escalated matters and communicate with upper management.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
