Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Vendor Management Supervisor to lead a nationwide team of specialists in selecting, monitoring and assessing third‑party vendors for mortgage operations. You will oversee SLAs, KPIs, compliance, audits and risk assessments, while coaching staff and refining processes.

The role is remote from home, with a focus on maintaining strong vendor relationships and ensuring policy adherence across the organization.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in mortgage servicing, auditing, finance, compliance or vendor management.
• At least three years in a lead or supervisory role with two+ staff.
• Experience establishing, negotiating and enforcing vendor contracts and SLAs.
• Strong management reporting experience.
• Ability to manage remotely and nationwide vendors.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise vendor management staff; set performance expectations and coach the team.
• Monitor ongoing vendor compliance with regulatory and company policies.
• Evaluate vendors’ adherence to SLAs and regulations; address issues promptly.
• Lead and motivate staff; manage work distribution and development opportunities.
• Maintain department policies, forms, reports and training materials.
• Review vendor risk levels and due diligence documentation for accuracy.
• Oversee monthly vendor scorecards and incident tracking with stakeholders.
• Oversee annual recertification and non-responsive vendor issues resolution.
• Oversee onboarding/termination processes and policy adherence.
• Review exception reports and enhance reporting processes.
• Respond to internal/external audit requests as needed.
• Coordinate risk reviews with Risk Management and remediation tracking.
