Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Vendor Management Supervisor to lead a national team of specialists in selecting, monitoring and assessing third-party vendors across mortgage operations. This role directs compliance with SLAs, KPIs, investor guidelines and regulatory requirements, while developing department procedures and training staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Five or more years in mortgage servicing, auditing, finance, compliance or vendor management.
• Minimum of three years in a lead or supervisory role with two+ direct reports.
• Experience establishing, negotiating and enforcing vendor contracts and SLAs.
• Experience in management reporting and remote team oversight.
• Proficiency in MS Office with advanced skills in Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Visio.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem solving and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a complex remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Vendor Management staff; set performance expectations and foster teamwork.
• Regularly monitor vendor compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
• Evaluate vendor adherence to contracts, SLAs and regulations; address issues promptly.
• Lead and coach vendor management staff; manage workload and development.
• Maintain department policies, forms, reports, training materials and checklists; collaborate with stakeholders.
• Analyze department reports and vendor management system for effectiveness and quality.
• Share performance assessments with staff; identify strengths and training needs.
• Oversee vendor risk assessment, due diligence, and profile accuracy and completeness.
• Manage monthly vendor scorecard review including complaints and incidents; address issues with stakeholders.
• Oversee annual vendor re-certification processes and issue resolution with non-responsive vendors.
• Oversee onboarding and termination processes with stakeholders to ensure policy compliance.
• Review exception reports and enhance reporting processes.
• Respond to internal and external audit requests as needed.
• Review on-site audit reports and coordinate remedial actions with Risk Management.
• Handle escalated matters and present concerns to upper management.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
