Merck is seeking a Vaccine Customer Representative (VCR) to provide clinical information on vaccines, education, and resources to health care providers and healthcare professionals. You will support reimbursement and contract adherence while aiming to increase immunization rates within your geographic territory.

You will serve as the primary contact for clinics, hospitals, and delivery systems in your area, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality customer interactions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years sales experience OR high school diploma with 6+ years experience in sales/marketing/military/healthcare/scientific field.
• Proven ability to build trust with customers and demonstrate value in selling situations.

Responsibilities

• Engage in balanced product sales presentations with Health Care Providers and Health Care Business Professionals to align customer needs and vaccine attributes with labeling and CDC recommendations.
• Provide vaccine management updates to help customers improve patient outcomes, feedback, and contract performance.
• Keep informed on science, product and market knowledge through self-study, workshops, and review of promotional materials.
• Use data to conduct quarterly business reviews to educate customers on contract performance across the vaccine portfolio.
• Assist customers with education to improve immunization rates through quality-based programs such as Vaccine IQ.
