Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Support professional to manage daily customer activities including order entry, tracking, and order management. This remote US-based role collaborates with local business units and ABB groups to ensure on-time delivery and accurate bid responses.

You will use product configuration tools and business systems while coordinating inputs from various groups to meet customer needs. Travel may be required for customer sites or ABB locations.

Qualifications

• Power transmission and distribution product knowledge preferred.
• B2B customer support experience preferred.
• Experience using product configuration tools and databases.

Responsibilities

• Utilize ABB's tools and processes including product configuration tools, order entry and business systems.
• Coordinate activities with local business units to track orders and ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate input from local units and ABB groups to meet customer bid requirements.
• Process information on multiple projects and adapt to priority changes.
• Attend meetings to exchange information and analyze contract requirements.
• Investigate technical problems and implement corrective actions to avoid recurrences.
• Duties may require domestic travel to customer locations or ABB sites.
• Initiate change orders and expedite collection of overdue invoices.
• May require periodic reporting for outstanding orders, VMI or Blanket Order management.
