You will manage utility accounts, resolve billing issues, and collaborate across teams to ensure accurate billing and timely payments. Ideal candidates have at least one year of billing or property management experience, strong English communication, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of billing, utility management, or property operations experience.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Comfortable contacting US utility providers by phone or email.
• Experience reviewing invoices, tracking payments, and researching discrepancies.
• Excellent organization, detail orientation, and ability to handle deadlines.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and web-based applications.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage utility accounts for residential properties across US markets.
• Coordinate activations, transfers, disconnections, and closures during onboarding and transitions.
• Communicate with utility providers by phone, email, and portals to resolve billing issues.
• Enter invoices into AppFolio with accurate documentation.
• Monitor billing cycles, due dates, balances, and missing invoices.
• Verify funds, obtain approvals, and process utility payments.
• Calculate tenant billbacks, prorations, and shared-meter allocations.
• Investigate discrepancies and potential service issues.
• Track deposits, refunds, final bills, and closings.
• Collaborate with Property Managers, Maintenance, and Accounting to resolve issues.
