Job summary

Soitec, the world leader in engineered substrates for the semiconductor industry, seeks a Field Application Engineer to be the primary technical liaison for our key customers across the United States. This fast-paced role places you at the intersection of our substrate technology and leaders designing advanced devices.

You will serve as the technical consultant and advocate, coordinate with internal teams, deliver technical presentations and demos, and manage project qualifications from inquiry

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required in a related field.
• 4–6 years in customer support management or Field Application Engineering in semiconductors.
• Deep knowledge of silicon/semiconductors and wafer processing.
• Experience with SEM, SIMS, GOI, XRT, C‑V, SRP, TEM.

Responsibilities

• Technical leadership & customer interface with US customers.
• Primary technical contact for customer engineering teams and management.
• Develop deep product knowledge and process/quality control of substrates.
• Drive adoption by communicating benefits of Soitec products to customers.
