Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an experienced Unstructured Data Sales Specialist to drive growth across AI, analytics, cyber resilience, and file/object modernization. This revenue-generating role requires a seller who can create demand, build pipeline, open opportunities, and sell emerging technologies.

The ideal candidate pairs enterprise sales expertise with the technical depth to connect customer challenges and differentiated capabilities to measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of successful enterprise technology sales or business development.
• Experience selling to Enterprise accounts is required.
• Ability to create pipeline and close complex enterprise opportunities.
• Experience selling storage, data infrastructure, AI infrastructure, analytics, or related tech.
• Strong consultative and value-based selling skills.
• Understand technical architectures and translate to business value.
• Proven ability to sell disruptive technologies with market creation.
• Strong executive communication, storytelling, negotiation skills.
• Competitive mindset with displacement strategy experience.
• Ability to collaborate across account executives, technical teams, partners and executives.
• Willingness to travel for customer and partner engagements.

Responsibilities

• Create and own qualified pipeline within assigned strategic accounts and territories.
• Drive demand and market development by shaping use cases and converting whitespace into qualified pipeline.
• Identify whitespace, competitive displacement opportunities, and new use cases beyond traditional storage refresh cycles.
• Develop opportunities across AI infrastructure, analytics, cyber resilience, and data storage solutions.
• Lead consultative discovery to understand customer business, data, and infrastructure challenges.
• Translate technical differentiation into faster recovery, stronger AI/analytics performance, and reduced complexity.
• Engage CIOs/CTOs/CISOs and data leaders with the HPE value proposition.
• Partner with account teams, solution architects, partners, ISVs, marketing, and product teams.
• Orchestrate cross-team alignment around priority markets, use cases, and growth plays.
• Develop and execute competitive strategies against incumbents and emerging providers.
