Job summary

Qualifications

• 3 years clinical experience with applicable patient care and administrative duties preferred.
• Knowledge of disease processes and development across all age groups.
• Nursing assessment skills with/without visual inspection utilizing basic nursing theory.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, medical equipment, HIPAA compliance and OSHA rules and regulations required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and assesses patient health care needs based on signs and symptoms using triage protocols.
• Participates in weekly huddles to review KPI and ensure KPI-driven workflows.
• Obtains input from providers to determine best clinical course of action.
• Documents symptoms, nursing assessment, advice, and patient responses in the EHR.
• Coordinates and schedules same-day and future appointments on provider schedules.
• Manage prescription refills per protocol.
• Provide patient education on chronic disease, preventive care, and family health.
