Job summary

Mercantile Bank of Michigan in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Treasury Support Specialist for a full-time, hybrid role that begins in the office and allows one remote day per week after onboarding. You will support business customers, log incidents, and escalate questions as needed.

The ideal candidate has a tech-savvy mindset, 1–3 years of customer service experience, and a high school diploma or GED. Prior banking/treasury experience is a plus and working hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in an office environment with M-F 8:30am–5:30pm.
• Experience in banking or treasury is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls from business customers and provide technical support.
• Log and create customer incidents.
• Escalate product and sales questions to the appropriate teams.
