Job summary

BCD Travel is seeking an Operations Technology Specialist to provide first-line technology support for virtual agents and in-office teams across the NOAM region. The role is remote with full-time status in the United States.

You will collaborate with internal tech teams, monitor system status, perform RCAs, and guide rapid resolutions while maintaining established processes and policies. Strong travel industry knowledge is required, with Sabre GDS and OBT experience preferred.

• Significant travel industry experience is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with root-cause analysis ability.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Follow established processes and collaborate on best practices to monitor and resolve technology support cases.
• Partner with internal/external tech teams to perform RCAs, escalate, test, and resolve cases.
• Troubleshoot issues with virtual employees for quick resolution.
• Escalate common issues to other departments for global resolution.
• Communicate with virtual employees using the most effective method.
• Manage system status and improve performance per policies.
