Job summary

ALG Vacations (ALGV), part of Hyatt, is a leading North American tour operator offering a wide portfolio of brands to travel agencies. As a Business Development Manager, you will represent Travel Impressions, Apple Vacations, Funjet Vacations, United Vacations and Blue Sky Tours in your territory to drive revenue growth.

You will forge strong agency relationships, pursue incremental revenue, and apply a consultative selling approach to align agency needs with our brands.

Qualifications

• Travel industry knowledge preferred; transferable sales background considered.
• Must be based in MN or IA territory; ability to travel up to 70%.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills; ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic alliances with travel agents and agencies.
• Leverage ALG VACATIONS relationships to gain commitment and incremental revenue.
• Use a consultative sales approach to match agency needs with brands.
• Achieve revenue commitments and implement plans with agencies.
• Maintain engagement plans for top accounts and grow opportunities.
• Represent ALG VACATIONS at events to cultivate new business.
• Create brand loyalty using joint marketing and educational tools.
• Monitor profitability and report on progress; track competitive activity.
