Job summary

ALG Vacations, part of Hyatt, seeks a Group Sales Consultant to manage group quotes, contracts, and itineraries for leisure travel clients in Milwaukee. You will nurture relationships with agencies and suppliers and drive group sales performance.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in travel or group sales, strong CRM and Excel skills, and excellent communication. This full-time role offers benefits and a structured corporate environment in the Milwaukee area.

Qualifications

• Two (2) plus years of relevant experience in travel, group sales, event and/or wedding planning or equivalent
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience desired
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel as well as Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and Word
• Experience working in Salesforce or a similar CRM
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain strong relationships
• Good time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in home-office environments
• Strong communication and presentation skills with customer focus

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point-of-contact for customers to prepare group quotes, generate contracts, assist with in-destination requirements, or perform other similar duties
• Manage new and active leads through CRM
• Develop itineraries to satisfy group needs
• Attend training to build product knowledge and understand terms
• Present quote information professionally and secure the sale
• Respond to group vacation inquiries in a timely manner
• Maintain follow-up communication with customers every 24-48 hours
• Meet sales goals and contribute to team results
• Build customer loyalty and strong relationships with customers, agencies, and suppliers
• Answer incoming calls/emails via group channels as needed
