Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to perform testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair activities in substations, BESS and PV facilities across the country.

The role is remote with heavy travel to various job sites and includes collaboration with Technicians and Trainees to complete assignments. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of electrician testing experience in substations or BESS yards, strong English communication, and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Experience as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Ability to work at remote locations and in extreme weather conditions.
• CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain.
• Compliant with Job Safety Analysis and Electrical Testing SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair activities in substations, BESS and PV facilities.
• Complete jobs with assistance from Technicians and Trainees.
• Adhere to SOLV Energy safety, quality procedures and policies.
