Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to perform testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair activities in substations, BESS and PV facilities.

The role is remote with heavy travel to varying jobsites and includes performing acceptance testing and commissioning with support from Technicians and Trainees. Applicants should have 1–3 years of electrician testing experience, strong English communication skills, and be able to work at remote locations in

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Ability to travel 75% of the time.
• Effective verbal and written English language communication skills.
• Ability to work at remote locations in extreme weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair activities in substations, BESS and PV facilities.
• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment in substation, BESS and PV facilities.
• Complete jobs with assistance of Technicians and Trainees.
• Uphold SOLV Energy culture and standards.
