Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel is seeking energetic travel counselors to join our Traveler Care Team. This remote, home-based position supports 24/7 operations and handles end-to-end travel services for entertainment clients.

You’ll manage bookings, policy guidance, and issue resolution with a focus on white-glove service. The role requires 5+ years in travel consulting or customer service, strong GDS knowledge, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as travel consultant or in customer service.
• Advanced knowledge of global points of sale and international routings.
• Proficiency in Sabre or Amadeus GDS and Office 365.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and follow through.
• Experience in Entertainment, News, Sports, Production, VIP travel is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Frontline travel counselor support; guide policy, ticketing, customer service.
• Prioritize workload and ensure SLAs are met.
• Training and quality monitoring to maintain service levels.
• Build relationships with team, leaders, clients, coordinators and suppliers.
• Resolve disruptions, escalations, exchanges, waitlists and complex fare issues.
• Provide feedback via coaching sessions as needed.
• Share knowledge on updates and industry policy.
• Create and maintain training materials for reference.
• Travel service research and resolution.
• Book and manage global air, hotel, rail and ground bookings.
