Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel is seeking an experienced Travel Consultant to assist travelers via chat, book and adjust domestic and international travel, and resolve issues in real time.

The role requires GDS experience (Sabre), 3+ years in travel consulting, and a customer-focused, team-oriented mindset. The position is based in the United States with a 24x7 operating schedule and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3 or more years’ experience working as a Travel Consultant.
• Experience in GDS (Sabre) across both local and global markets.
• U.S. citizenship required due to Federal Government contract.
• A genuine passion for high-quality customer service.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• A positive, “can do” attitude.
• Willingness to learn and grow!

Responsibilities

• Consult travelers via Chat to recommend tailored resolutions.
• Troubleshoot customer travel issues via chat.
• Book and modify domestic and international flights, cars, and hotels.
• Multi-task by handling several customer conversations simultaneously.
• Operate in a fast-paced multi-account environment.
