American Express Global Business Travel is seeking a Travel Counselor to join our highly skilled remote After Hours team. You’ll provide outstanding service to corporate clients and coordinate travel arrangements across air, rail, and accommodations.

The role emphasizes compliance with travel policies and proactive service. Our Traveler Care leadership often rises from within the team, and we offer promotions, inclusive culture, and 24/7 operations with shift allowances for Overnight Schedules.

Qualifications

• Native GDS expertise (Amadeus) with 2+ years of experience.
• Fluent written and spoken English is required.
• Strong client service orientation and the ability to anticipate traveler needs.
• Attention to detail in handling traveler information and policies.
• Demonstrated integrity and discretion with confidential data.
• Ability to work collaboratively and accept feedback within a team.

Responsibilities

• Advise and arrange travel for corporate customers (individuals and groups).
• Conduct analysis and research on travel options and upsell services.
• Book domestic and international business travel (air, road, rail, accommodations).
• Utilize Amadeus GDS; refreshment training may be provided.
• Ensure compliance with travel policies, provider rules, and regulations.
• Provide positive telephone service and handle special requests.
• Collaborate with team to coach and mentor to improve service levels.
