Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Continuous Improvement Engineer to apply data-driven CI, engineering and Lean tools to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost across operations. You'll collect data, analyze processes, and lead Kaizen events, with strong focus on transportation modeling and Power BI dashboards.

Travel occasionally and collaborate with operations management. Bachelor's in Engineering or related field and 5+ years in transportation or supply chain are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field.
• 5+ years in Transportation or Supply Chain.
• Transportation Experience Necessary (Transportation Management, Dedicated, FTL, LTL)

Responsibilities

• Collects data and performs statistical analysis.
• Develop and manage continuous improvement plan to drive value.
• Manage CI and engineering projects and go-live support.
• Coach employees in Lean principles.
• Provide regular reports of data to measure progress.
