Jobgether SRL is seeking a Technical Business Development Strategist – Transmission Planning for remote work in the United States. The role blends transmission planning expertise with strategic market development, focusing on utilities, transmission owners, and ISO/RTOs across North America.

You will shape opportunities by researching market signals, regulatory changes, and investments while collaborating with planning and technical experts to prepare scopes of work and proposals.

Qualifikationen

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Bring 7+ years of experience in transmission planning, power systems engineering, or related fields.
• Demonstrate hands-on experience with transmission system studies and analyses.
• Experience working with utilities, transmission owners, ISO/RTOs, or bulk power systems.
• Understand how planning, operations, interconnection, engineering, regulatory, procurement, and leadership interact.
• Experience developing technical scopes, proposals, and study plans.
• Strong knowledge of transmission system planning, reliability, and related studies.
• Familiarity with EMT applications and high-fidelity simulations.
• Understanding of NERC, FERC, ISO/RTO processes and regional planning practices.
• Ability to translate complex challenges into defined technical scopes of work.
• Strong research, analytical, and written communication skills.
• Consultative communication to engage technical and executive stakeholders.
• Ability to research target accounts and develop engagement strategies.
• Strong writing skills for proposals, scopes of work, and client materials.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (~10%).
• Preferred: 10+ years in transmission planning or related experience.

• Develop and execute strategic market development plans across the North American transmission sector.
• Research utilities, transmission owners, and ISO/RTOs for opportunities and investments.
• Monitor FERC, NERC, regulators, utilities, and ISO/RTOs for regulatory and market changes.
• Identify organizations with challenges aligning with capabilities and develop engagement strategies.
• Develop target client lists, account strategies, and BD goals with leadership.
• Serve as a technically credible representative in discussions with engineers and executives.
