Job summary

Electric Power Engineers, LLC is seeking a Technical Business Development Strategist – Transmission Planning to bridge transmission planning expertise with market strategy, pursuing opportunities with utilities, transmission owners, and ISO/RTOs.

You will act as a technically credible partner, translating regulatory and technical challenges into scopes of work, developing target accounts, and shaping EPE's offerings while staying current on industry developments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
7+ years in transmission planning or related field.
Strong understanding of planning processes and stakeholder engagement.
Experience with utilities, ISO/RTOs, or transmission owners.
Ability to translate engineering concepts into client-facing materials.

Responsibilities

Develop market intelligence and strategic planning for North American transmission needs.
Engage utilities and ISO/RTOs with credible technical discussions.
Translate technical challenges into EPE solutions and scopes of work.
Build relationships across planning, operations, interconnection, and regulatory teams.
Lead or contribute to technical proposals and study work plans.
