1898 & Co. is seeking a Transmission Planning Consultant to advance North American transmission initiatives. You will perform advanced studies, support decision-making with technical and economic analysis, and engage with clients across a diverse set of utilities and ISO/RTO environments.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited engineering degree with 3+ years of related experience, or advanced degree with less experience.
Experience with power system planning and operations; familiarity with NERC/FERC standards.
Strong communication, leadership, and multi-project management skills.

Responsibilities

Perform diverse transmission planning studies (power flow, stability, short-circuit, etc.).
Evaluate regulatory conditions, risks, and regional requirements for projects.
Lead client interactions, prepare technical reports and presentations.
Support business development and proposal activities.
